The Decision
After completing my degree in Early Childhood Education and Development, I found a job as a teacher in a childcare and loved every moment I had with my 3 year old students; however, I also enjoyed the fact that they went to their house at the end of the day and I went to my house. I hadn't been employed for more than a few months when I discovered that I was expecting! Then, a couple years later, we decided to have another child. Both of my girls, now 4 and 1, are amazing, but with the addition of my stepson joining the household, we realized we were officially crazy busy. Not only does having 3 children in the household keep us moving, we also both work full time jobs. I went to school for child development, it shouldn't be difficult right? Ha! Everyday there are challenges that I encounter, for example, going to lunch at a restaurant today when we were eating later than normal and all of us had low blood sugar, and the server took forever to bring our food! That was a sight to see! Oh how the decisions we make in life can turn a simple lunch out into a meltdown mania!
